Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at the Hôtel de Région de Midi-Pyrénées in Toulouse, International Symposium on Wine Aromas. Organized by IFV Sud-Ouest, the theme will be centered around the aroma of wines.

Research on wine aromas is not new, but since aromatic substances are often present in trace amounts, we had to wait for the appearance of high-performance analytical tools, such as gas chromatography coupled with powerful detectors, to be able to measure them. A considerable leap forward in the knowledge of wine aromatics has thus been made in recent years.

During this conference organized by IFV Sud-Ouest and LAAE, international experts will be invited to present their latest findings on wine aroma. The afternoon will be devoted to the main scientific knowledge acquired during the European project Vinaromas programme-VINAROMAS.
